To run Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 on PC you need at least 64-bit Windows 10, an Intel Core i5-8400 or AMD Ryzen 5 2600, 16 GB of RAM, an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 (6 GB) or AMD Radeon RX 580, and 100 GB of free space on an SSD, which is required; Steam's recommended PC is an Intel Core i7-13700K or AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D with 32 GB of RAM and a GeForce RTX 4070 or Radeon RX 7800 XT (Steam, read Oct 25, 2026). The minimum aims at 1080p and 30 fps. PCGamesN's requirements guide (Ben Stockton, updated Nov 11, 2025) puts the minimum at 1080p and 30 fps and an Ultra tier (Core i7-13700K or Ryzen 7 7800X3D, RTX 4080 or RX 7900 XT, 32 GB) at 1440p and 60 fps, or 4K; PCGamesN's table and text disagree on whether Ultra's 4K target is 60 or 30 fps. PCGamesN also says the third DLC, Mysteria Ecclesiae, did not change the requirements.

The install is large on every platform. PCWorld (Jan 29, 2025) gave launch download sizes of up to 100 GB on PC, about 84 GB on PS5 and about 81 GB on Xbox Series X|S; the three story DLCs came later.

How it runs on PC

The PC version launched in good shape. PC Gamer's performance analysis was headlined "scalable frame rates, decent graphics, and barely a stutter in sight". Reviews and the game's reception are on Reception and Awards.

Patches added PC display features. Patch 1.4 (Sep 9, 2025) added HDR output, Intel XeSS 2.0 upscaling and an adaptive interface, and Patch 1.5.3 (Mar 5, 2026) added native support for Windows on ARM, optimized for Qualcomm Snapdragon X Elite devices, with no gameplay changes (Warhorse). Every patch is on Patches and Updates.

Controllers are fully supported. Steam lists full controller support; Hotfix 1.4.2 (Oct 21, 2025) fixed DualShock and DualSense controllers on PC after a firmware update (Warhorse), Hotfix 1.5.2 (Dec 2, 2025) added SteamLink controller support (Warhorse), and Patch 1.5.6 (Jun 25, 2026) added Steam Controller support. PCGamesN's combat guide recommends a controller over keyboard and mouse for fighting.

There is no Mac version. Steam lists the game for Windows only, and no Mac version had been announced in Warhorse's Steam posts through Oct 2026 (Steam). The game supported NVIDIA GeForce Now streaming from launch, according to PLAION's launch release (Feb 4, 2025).

Console modes: 30 or 60 fps

The shipped game has 60 fps modes on PS5 and Xbox Series X. Push Square's summary (Feb 2025) describes:

Console Mode Resolution and frame rate
PlayStation 5 Quality Upscaled 2160p, 30 fps
PlayStation 5 Performance Upscaled 1440p, 60 fps, frame rate can be unlocked on VRR displays
Xbox Series X Quality Upscaled 2160p, 30 fps
Xbox Series X Performance Upscaled 1440p, 60 fps, frame rate can be unlocked on VRR displays
PlayStation 5 Pro One mode Upscaled 2160p, 60 fps with PSSR
Xbox Series S One mode 1080p, 30 fps

Sources: Push Square for PS5, Series X and PS5 Pro; Pure Xbox (Dec 2024) for Series S. Both sites refuse automated reading, so these figures come from their published summaries. Insider Gaming's spec report (Jan 2025) gives the internal resolutions as 1440p upscaled to 4K in Quality and 1080p upscaled to 1440p in Performance.

PS5 Pro is the best console version. Digital Foundry found the PS5 Pro's single PSSR mode reaches 2160p at 60 fps and matches the base PS5's Quality settings, as Push Square reported (Feb 2025). The game is PS5 Pro Enhanced.

Warhorse first said consoles would run at 30 fps. In June 2024, executive producer Martin Klíma said at Game Access '24 that there would be no graphics modes and a locked 30 fps, with 4K on PS5 and 1440p on Series S, according to Game Rant (Jun 2, 2024). The modes above replaced that plan by launch.

Xbox players get Play Anywhere and cloud play. The Xbox store says the game supports Xbox Play Anywhere and is cloud-playable with Game Pass Premium and Ultimate, but it is a purchase, not a Game Pass catalog title. Editions and stores are on Editions and Where to Buy.

Steam Deck

Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 is rated Playable on Steam Deck. Steam's compatibility report flags small interface text and that external controllers are not supported as the primary player (Steam, read Oct 25, 2026). Warhorse announced on Jan 30, 2025 that the game is "officially playable on Steam Deck" (Warhorse).

PCGamesN found it runs at 30 to 57 fps on the Deck. Its Steam Deck guide (Ben Hardwidge, Feb 11, 2025) measured up to 57 fps early in the game (about 45 in busy scenes), about 41 fps in Kuttenberg and as low as 28 fps during the Kuttenberg tournament, and some saves took over a minute and a half to load even from NVMe storage. Its recommended settings:

Setting PCGamesN's choice
Display Fullscreen, Vsync on, 60 fps limit
Overall quality Low, with every advanced option on Low
Field of view 95 horizontal
Upscaling FSR Balanced (Performance blurs the text in books)

Nintendo Switch 2

A Switch 2 version is coming in 2027. Deep Silver announced the Royal Edition for Nintendo Switch 2 on Sep 8, 2026, with the base game and all three story expansions: upscaled 1080p in handheld mode, up to 1440p docked depending on the display, Joy-Con 2 mouse mode, HDR and an enlarged menu interface (Deep Silver). Deep Silver has given no date or price. The platforms' timeline is on Release History.
