The English voice cast

Tom McKay voices Henry of Skalitz, the role he played in the first game. He called it "one of the most amazing and unusual acting challenges" he had faced in a BBC interview (GamingBolt), and his 508 hours of recording over 127 sessions (GamesRadar+) fill a script that Warhorse says runs to over 2.2 million words. TheGamer describes his line count as a "record" for one character (TheGamer).

Luke Dale voices Hans Capon, Henry's friend and the heir to Rattay, also returning from the first game. Dale praised Daniel Vávra's "forensic understanding" of the game's vision (GamingBolt). Warhorse said in Feb 2025 that McKay and Dale had worked with the studio for "nearly ten years".

Jim High plays Erik, the adopted son of Istvan Toth, who wants revenge on Henry. Warhorse named him when the Golden Joystick Awards nominated him for Best Supporting Performer. Warhorse's Devil's Pack trailer of Mar 27, 2025 names more of the cast on its title cards: Adrian Bouchet as Jan Žižka, Janina Anderson as Katherine, Euan Macnaughton as Godwin, Douglas Russell as the Dry Devil, Milton Welsh as Kubyenka, Richard Kiess as Liechtenstein, Jean-Philippe Ricci as Brabant and George Lenz as Sigismund. The other roles are in the game's end credits; Characters lists who plays whom.

The two leads also fronted the marketing. McKay and Dale narrated the 13-minute reveal on Apr 18, 2024 (God is a Geek) and starred in a scripted live-action series that toured Kutná Hora in modern dress, in four episodes from Nov 7, 2024 to Feb 17, 2025, written and directed by Vítek Mičke with music by Jan Valta and Daniel Vávra playing himself.

Awards for the performances

McKay and High were both nominated at the Golden Joystick Awards 2025, for Best Lead Performer and Best Supporting Performer; neither won (Insider Gaming). McKay was also nominated for Performer in a Leading Role at the BAFTA Games Awards on Apr 17, 2026, which went to Jennifer English for Clair Obscur: Expedition 33; the game itself won Narrative that night (NME). Every award is on Reception and Awards.

Czech and other languages

Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 has full voice acting in English, French, German, Spanish (Spain), Czech and Japanese, and interface and subtitles in nine more languages, per Steam's store data. Warhorse announced the languages on May 31, 2024.

The French dub was recorded again after launch. Patch 1.2 on Mar 13, 2025 brought "a newly recorded French voiceover", along with corrected Chinese translations and a clearer Korean font, per PLAION. See Patches and Updates.

The score

Jan Valta is the lead composer, with Adam Sporka as additional composer; the Warhorse Studio Orchestra and Choir performed the score, Ondřej Urban mixed and mastered it, and the released selection represents four years of work (Warhorse).

The game holds over ten hours of newly composed music. About a third of it is symphonic score for cutscenes, recorded live with orchestra and a large choir, at times in Prague's Rudolfinum with over 100 musicians on stage, and hundreds of dynamic triggers change the music for rain, dark forests or Kuttenberg at night (Warhorse). The third live-action episode filmed McKay and Dale at a Rudolfinum session.

Valta and Vávra chose film music over period pastiche. Valta said they agreed on "a symphonic soundtrack: film-like music, which is then spiced or seasoned with medieval times" (Warhorse).

Soundtrack releases

The soundtrack came out on Steam the same day as the game. Every release, as Warhorse and Steam list it:

Trailer music

Two trailers set the game to modern songs. The Official CGI Trailer of Jan 30, 2025, made with Platige, used a medieval-style cover of a 1970s track (Warhorse) and was nominated for Best Game Trailer at the Golden Joysticks (Insider Gaming); the Royal Edition trailer of Nov 2025 used Queens of the Stone Age's "Made to Parade" (PLAION).

Live concerts

The score has toured as a concert since 2025. The first KCD II Live Concert was at O2 universum in Prague on Sep 17, 2025, played by the Brno Philharmonic under Valta, followed by Frankfurt on Feb 12, 2026 and Wrocław on Feb 15, 2026 (Warhorse).

A Czech tour followed in 2026, starting in the real Kuttenberg. Two shows in St. Barbara's cathedral in Kutná Hora on Jul 11, 2026 were filmed, then Český Krumlov on Aug 1, Brno on Aug 17 and Broumov on Aug 29 (Warhorse); the Kutná Hora film went up on YouTube on Sep 24, 2026. The dates left in 2026 are Olomouc on Dec 2 with the Moravian Philharmonic, Tábor on Dec 4 and Hradec Králové on Dec 19, after České Budějovice on Oct 7 (Warhorse).
