Mysteria Ecclesiae is the third and final story DLC for Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, released on Nov 11, 2025 and sold for $13.99 on Steam. Henry becomes assistant to Sigismund Albicus, a renowned healer with ties to King Wenceslas, on a secret mission inside Sedletz Monastery to find the origin of a deadly plague, per PLAION's announcement. It starts with Peter of Pisek at Suchdol in the Kuttenberg region, and leans on alchemy, investigation and stealth more than combat.

Release and price

PLAION announced Mysteria Ecclesiae on Oct 23, 2025 for Nov 11, at a suggested €13.99, on PC, Xbox Series X|S, PS5 and PS5 Pro (PLAION). It came out on Nov 11, 2025 alongside Patch 1.5, for $13.99 on Steam (Warhorse on Steam). Warhorse revealed it in a dev stream on Nov 6, 2025.

It is the last of the three story expansions in the $29.99 Expansion Pass, after Brushes with Death and Legacy of the Forge, and the next day Deep Silver released the Royal Edition with all of them (Deep Silver on Steam, Nov 12, 2025). Embracer credited Mysteria Ecclesiae, with marketing and seasonal promotions, for a "standout quarter" from October to December 2025 (Embracer). See DLC and Expansion Pass.

It ends the DLC plan. Warhorse called it "the third and final DLC" (Warhorse on Steam), and Warhorse's Tobias Stolz-Zwilling told PCGamesN: "We want to call it a day there, at least finish Henry's story."

How to start Mysteria Ecclesiae

The DLC starts with Peter of Pisek. Game Rant's start guide says to reach Kuttenberg and finish The Sword and the Quill and Speak of the Devil, then find Peter (a gold cross on a purple shield icon) at Suchdol or the Mintmaster's house to begin The Royal Physician. PowerPyx says the icon already appears on the second day of The Sword and the Quill, in Suchdol castle's banquet hall, and that players who have finished the main story find Peter in Kuttenberg instead.

Peter sends Henry to the physician. He gives a Letter of Introduction; Albich of Uniczow (Game Rant's spelling of the physician PLAION calls Sigismund Albicus) is not home, so Henry asks Apothecary Oswald Torwart, then travels with Albich to Sedletz, per Game Rant. Game Rant advises raising Scholarship and Speech and clearing other quests first.

Early bugs blocked some starts. Hotfix 1.5.1 on Nov 14, 2025 fixed Peter of Pisek being unavailable for players who had finished the main quest on patches 1.2 to 1.2.3, and Hotfix 1.5.2 on Dec 2, 2025 stopped people sleeping all day in Peter's house. See Patches and Updates.

The monastery and its story

Sedletz Monastery, on the east side of the Kuttenberg region, is under quarantine in the DLC. Warhorse's announcement says "a sudden epidemic has struck the monastery", with scarce resources and high tensions, and casts Henry as an investigator "piecing together clues to uncover the truth behind the outbreak". PLAION adds that its crypts are disturbed and patrolled by Teutonic guards, and that Henry relies on "his cunning, alchemical skills, and a fair bit of stealth" (PLAION).

The monks have their own agendas. PLAION says the factions inside have hidden motives (PLAION), PCGamesN says Henry uncovers rifts among the monks as sections of the monastery unlock (PCGamesN), and Warhorse says the storyline "branches in surprising ways" (Warhorse on Steam).

It plays differently from the base game. PCGamesN says it centers on alchemy and medicine more than combat and lets Henry explore freely while he investigates (PCGamesN), and PCGamesN's preview headline called it "curing medieval Covid". See Alchemy and Potion Recipes and Stealth, Lockpicking and Pickpocketing.

The lockdown has rules. Being sent to the abbot twice for breaking the lockdown gets Henry banished, a game over, per Game Rant's list of secret endings and deaths, and PowerPyx says guards escort Henry to the infirmary when they catch him.
