Endings
Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 has one main ending, in Judgment Day, where the ghosts of Henry's parents judge his deeds (proud if he kept his honor, cold if not), plus a secret Theresa ending and several secret endings and game overs; after the credits you can keep playing in free roam.
Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 has one main ending: in the final quest, Judgment Day, Henry of Skalitz receives his father's sword from Sir Radzig and then meets the ghosts of his parents, who are proud of him if he did more good than bad and kept his honor, and if not, his blacksmith father compares him to Istvan Toth and leaves with a cold farewell, according to TheGamer's endings guide. Choices across the whole story decide which version you see, alongside a secret ending with Theresa and several secret endings and game overs earlier on. After the credits the game returns Henry to the world, and you can keep playing (Screen Rant). The quests that lead here are on Main Quests in Kuttenberg.

The ending
Spoilers for the end of the story follow.
Judgment Day retakes Suchdol and closes the story. After the allies storm the fortress and kill Lamprecht of Prague, Radzig finally gives Henry his sword, and Henry's parents appear in a vision and judge his deeds, according to TheGamer's walkthrough. TheGamer stresses that what they say is decided by your past actions, not by dialogue choices in the scene.
The verdict comes in two versions. If Henry did more good than bad and kept his honor, his parents are proud; if not, his father compares him to Istvan Toth and leaves with a cold farewell (TheGamer's endings guide).
The last scenes tie up the cast. A later scene shows Radzig, a drunk Žižka and the Dry Devil (Hynek), and after the credits Sigismund hears about his stolen silver (TheGamer's walkthrough). If Samuel survived Reckoning, Hanush tells Henry about Hans Capon's wedding; if not, Henry takes Samuel's body down from the gallows for a funeral.
The choices that decide it
TheGamer lists the choices that count toward the better ending, the better option first (TheGamer):
| Quest | Better choice | Other choice |
|---|---|---|
| Necessary Evil | Side with the Semines and kill Hashek | Side with Hashek; the Semines die |
| Dancing with the Devil | Stop the Dry Devil burning the village of Maleshov and win the duel | Let Maleshov burn |
| Reckoning | Spare Vauquelin Brabant | Kill him |
| Reckoning | Leave Markvart von Aulitz to die of his wounds | Kill him yourself |
| The whole game | Avoid needless theft and killing, even inside quest solutions | Steal and kill freely |
Source: TheGamer's endings guide, Feb 5, 2025.
Some choices do not count. TheGamer says the Samuel choice in Reckoning has no effect on Henry's honor: taking Samuel slows the ride, so the Praguers take Suchdol's silver but Samuel lives, while leaving him saves the silver and gets him hanged. Saving Maleshov does not change later events either, but TheGamer says it affects how other characters react to Henry (TheGamer).
Two Kuttenberg side quests matter too. Game Rant says The Fifth Commandment, Katherine's serial-killer hunt, is needed for one of the best endings, and that in The Spark siding with Chenyek keeps the good ending open, while letting him be murdered (siding with Knuckles and not warning him) blocks it (Game Rant). The quests are on Side Quests, and the reputation system behind honor on Crime and Reputation.
The Theresa ending
The secret Theresa ending lets Henry settle down with Theresa. Game Rant's secret endings guide gives the path: name Theresa as your sweetheart at the campfire and keep mentioning her, do not fully romance Hans, Katherine or Rosa, keep a positive reputation, choose "settle down and start a family," then pick Theresa after the talk with your parents in Judgment Day. Game Rant's Katherine guide adds that completing her romance excludes the Theresa ending (Game Rant). The romances are on Romance.
Secret endings
Three secret endings come before the finale. Game Rant's guide lists them:
- Killing Sigismund (The King's Gambit): take a dagger hidden in a scroll and stab the king while serving at the town hall. The game ends on a screen saying Wenceslas returns to the throne, Jan Hus is never burned and the Hussite Wars never happen; the real Sigismund died in 1437 (Game Rant). It is a game over, and Patch 1.3 gave the kill a new animation.
- Sigismund's army defeated (The Lion's Den): kill enough of Sigismund's soldiers, by poisoning their food and wine or killing them in their sleep, for a victory screen; then reload.
- The siege of Suchdol lifted (Reckoning): wipe out the whole Praguers' camp alone for a message that God's hand guided Henry's weapon. It is not a game over, and the save continues.
The army endings drew press. PC Gamer reported that a patch added a secret "happy(ish)" ending for players who solo an entire enemy army (PC Gamer), and GamesRadar+ reported that Legacy of the Forge added a secret ending that fixes an immersion-breaking moment of the main quest (GamesRadar+). We could read only those headlines, so the details of each are not confirmed here.
Game overs
The game can also end early. Game Rant's guide lists these:
- Attacking enough of Otto von Bergow's soldiers before For Victory!: Henry has lost his lord's trust.
- Dancing with Doubravka at the Semine wedding with low health: her missteps deal damage.
- Being caught red-handed in a serious crime while already branded: Henry is hanged. PC Gamer also reported a secret dark ending for Bohemia's worst criminals (PC Gamer).
- Making gunpowder while drunk: Henry blows up, with an achievement.
- In Mysteria Ecclesiae, being sent to the abbot twice for breaking lockdown, and dying to crayfish at very low health in Our Daily Bread (the Ostraconophobia achievement).
Story deaths end the game too. In Taking French Leave, the game is over if Hans or Brabant dies (Game Rant), and in Necessary Evil, siding with the Semines and then confessing to von Bergow gets Henry hanged (Game Rant).
After the credits
You can keep playing after the ending. Screen Rant says the game teleports Henry back into the world after the credits and shows a summary that varies by ending, which says "you can return to completing unfinished side quests and exploring the Kuttenberg and Trosky regions" (Screen Rant). An achievement named after the ending pops up first.
Not every side quest survives the story. TheGamer's post-game guide says some side quests disappear after major story events, so finishing them may take an earlier save; Game Rant's points of no return name For Victory! (Demons of Trosky, Bad Blood) and Oratores (Bellatores, The Thunderstone, The White Roebuck) (Game Rant). TheGamer's post-game list suggests maxing stats, finding every smithing sketch and recipe, beating every dice player and learning from every trainer; see Trophies and Achievements for the achievements.
The story DLCs are post-game content too. Legacy of the Forge and Mysteria Ecclesiae start after The Sword and the Quill and Speak of the Devil, according to Game Rant, so a finished save can play them; see DLC and Expansion Pass.
What the ending sets up
The ending leaves threads open. Erik, Istvan Toth's adopted son, loses his duel with Henry in Civitas Pragensis but is last seen wounded and alive, which Game Rant calls unfinished business. TheGamer's list of loose ends notes that Godwin has arranged Hans's marriage without telling him, Hans plans to fake illness, and Henry and Hans plan to stay in the Kuttenberg region before Hans goes back to Rattay.
A new Kingdom Come game is coming. Warhorse confirmed "a new Kingdom Come adventure" alongside a Middle-earth RPG on May 20, 2026 (RPG Site), and Embracer's Aug 13, 2026 report expects the next Kingdom Come game in its fiscal year 2027/28. Warhorse has not said whether it continues Henry's story; more is on Development History.
